Gruppo Logistico LDI was founded in the late 70s as Laziale Distribuzione in Pomezia, near Rome, on the initiative of Giuseppe Bursese. After a short start as a quick delivery company, Laziale Distribuzione - realizing significant changes in the market and following a natural vocation - becomes a true logistics operator, able to offer an increasingly broader range of integrated services, from transportation to distribution, from the preparation of sendings to track&trace, from the management of stocks and of returned goods to special processes, from the quality control to the management of archives, from logistics consulting to the fiscal and administrative consultancy and much more. The natural logistics vocation of the company has been gradually developing over the years, as shown by the acquisition of a new name, Gruppo Logistico - LDI, the birth in 1981 of the subsidiary Interlaziale S.p.a. - logistics and distribution hub in Northern Italy with offices in Paderno Dugnano, Bollate and Ceriano Laghetto -, the multisectoral development, the presence in some particularly important infrastructures such as the harbour of Gioia Tauro, but especially with the creation - between 2007 and 2008 – of the Logistics Centre of Santa Palomba, Rome. The HQ is a structure of 80,000 covered square meters, born with the aim to concentrate the multifaceted activities of Gruppo Logistico - LDI and to become a benchmark at national level for production and services, for efficiency and modernity.
